Woman Walking Man on a Leash Like A Dog Around London Confuses Internet

A man being walked through the streets of Farrington, London by a woman wielding a leash managed to raise eyebrows  and created a social media outrage. 

This incident also got many Londoners taking pictures, tweeting and filming the pair as they strutted and crawled on the dirty pavement, without a word being said between them. 

Was the man being punished by an angry spouse? Was this some sort of weird fetish or publicity stunt? No word if it was a stunt done as a promotion, or if it was just good, weird fun.
